Looking for quick spring table decor ideas? Here are easy and simple ways to get your table decorated for spring in a pinch with the prettiest tulip centerpiece idea.

Can you believe how quickly spring arrived this year?

It seemed like we never really had winter because January and February had the mildest weather here in New Jersey. March had a few bouts with snow and there were some cold snaps in there, but overall, not the coldest winter!

So now that it’s officially spring?

I’m all about it.

And with spring comes all of the beautiful holidays too. Easter, Passover, Mother’s Day, and any other special occasion you can throw in between.

If you love the look of a beautifully decorated table but want to avoid the work, this post is for you!

Whether you are hosting a holiday or decorating your home for spring, here are a few quick and easy table decor ideas to try.

10-Minute Quick Spring Table Decor Ideas

For this month’s supper club, I wanted to create a table that would be quick and easy for anyone to do. No fancy centerpiece designs, no frills, just the basics and make it look pretty.

Here’s how to pull a simple spring tablescape together in under 10 minutes.

Easy Spring Centerpiece Idea for the Dining Table

Before I pull a table together, I always create the centerpiece first. If I don’t have anything fresh on hand, I’ll grab a bunch of faux flowers to help make it look pretty.

(Click here if you are shopping for spring greenery or faux flowers.)

To keep this simple, I used 4 bunches of grocery store tulips, snipped the ends on a 45-degree angle, and dropped them in a simple glass vase that I had laying around.

Sounds easy enough right?

Simple Spring Table Decorating Ideas

Break out your fine china, ironstone, jadeite, or whatever you have on hand to set the table. Don’t be afraid to use the good stuff either. Each day is special so treat yourself and use your favorite things.

Hopefully, you’ve acquired an array of chargers and table linens by now. But if not you can stock up on supplies here.

Next, get everything out that you think you’ll use and set a timer cause this table is setting quickly!

Start with your favorite tablecloth and/or table runner, then add your simple centerpiece. For this table, I used a beautiful linen tablecloth and napkins.

Grab your favorite charger. I love these cedar branch placemats. They can be used year-round for any season. If you like to entertain and haven’t bought them yet, trust me…you want them.

Place your chargers at each table setting, then add your dinner and salad plates. I usually grab my Lenox from my wedding or the set my grandmother gave me.

I like to use a folded linen napkin in between the dishes to break them up but there are no hard and fast rules here. You can toss them on the plate in a napkin ring just as easily.

Grab some wine and water goblets. And set each place with a knife, fork, and spoon.

I love to group them in these pretty cutlery pouches to keep them nice and neat. Plus the pouches add some texture to the table and I think they are adorable.

I topped my table settings off with a cute bird’s nest. But you can use a mason jar of fresh-cut flowers, a small flowering branch, other spring decor, or a linen napkin in a ring too.

Sounds easy enough right?

The Secret to Designing a Table in 10 Minutes

The key to having the ability to set a gorgeous table in minutes is stocking up on table decor supplies that you’ll use over and over again.

I bought 12 of those cedar branch placemats and haven’t regretted that purchase yet. Because they are incorporated in so many of my table designs throughout the year. If you want to get them too, they sell out quickly and sometimes don’t stock up for a while, so when you see them, grab them.

It’s a good idea to buy some neutral table linens and if there’s a specific color you’re drawn to, then buy that one too. But I’ve found I gravitate to the neutrals over and over again. So I think it’s worth investing in those items.

You don’t have to go out and buy fancy dinnerware if you don’t have it. Use what you have and design a table around it. You can dress anything up or down.

I have beautiful Lenox from my wedding and my Grandmother that I use regularly for dinner parties and holidays. Both of Lenox patterns are neutral so they compliment almost any look.
