Felonies
The following people were booked into the Lee County-Tupelo Adult Jail in connection with felony charges ending Tuesday at 11 a.m.
Andrea D. Bean, 48, of New Houlka, was arrested by the Tupelo Police Department, capias for embezzlement.
Jennifer Lynn Carruthers, 35, of Nettleton, was arrested by the Tupelo Police Department, capias for the sale of fentanyl, shoplifting-second offense.
Destenee Latia Causey, 25, of Tupelo, was arrested by the Mississippi Department of Corrections, violation of probation.
Mitchell Langley Dillard, 53, of Tupelo, was arrested by the Tupelo Police Department, possession of methamphetamine.
Shamarious Gardner, 23, of Okolona, was arrested by the Tupelo Police Department, aggravated assault, two counts of shooting into a dwelling.
D’adrian D. Hampton, 29, of Pontotoc, was arrested by the Tupelo Police Department, felony fleeing, driving under the influence, three counts of ran a stop sign, reckless driving, no insurance, open container, disorderly conduct.
Andy Dustin Jackson, 31, of Tupelo, was arrested by the Lee County Sheriff’s Office, burglary of a building.
William Arnez Montgomery, 29, of Shannon, was arrested by the Tupelo Police Department, violation of probation, possession of marijuana, open container, no driver’s license, disobeying a police officer.
Jason Saunders, 43, of Blue Springs, was arrested by the Mississippi Highway Patrol, grand larceny, two counts of the sale of methamphetamine.
William A. Smith, 37, of Tupelo, was arrested by the Tupelo Police Department, possession of a Schedule II drug, possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana.
Tonya V. Ward, 46, of Blue Springs, was arrested by the Mississippi Highway Patrol, possession of methamphetamine, possession of fentanyl, possession of paraphernalia, driving under the influence, no driver’s license, possession of a controlled substance.

The following reports were filed Tuesday by the Lee County Sheriff's Office.
A County Road 736, Plantersville, woman said her neighbor’s two large black dogs come onto her property acting aggressive toward her. She said the dogs keep running up to her and baring their teeth. She wanted deputies to ask the owner to keep the dogs up.
A Blue Springs woman said she was turning off County Road 197 onto Birmingham Ridge Road. She had slowed down for some geese in the road and a white Toyota Camry went around her at a high rate of speed. She followed the car on Birmingham Ridge Road and said it was “all over both lanes of the road” all the way to Highway 145.
An employee at a Mooreville tire store said a mother dog and puppies were dumped at the Highway 178 business. A justice court judge issued a pickup order for the dog and six puppies.
A County Road 1200, Tupelo, man said someone has been messing with all of their vehicles. He said his wife’s car was acting strange and started knocking. When he opened the gas cap, there was a sticky substance on the inside, as if someone had put sugar in the gasoline. He did not know who was responsible.
A County Road 1349, Mooreville, woman said her bank called saying someone was in Florida with her ID trying to purchase a car for $5,000. The bank was checking to make sure it was her. She said she was at work and had not been to Florida. She went to the bank, closed her account and opened a new one.
A County Road 441, Guntown, man and his wife were watching a moving around 9 p.m. when a car pulled in their driveway. The man got up to see who it was but before he could look outside, he heard multiple gunshots. The car left after the shooting stopped. He did not believe his house or vehicles were struck by the gunfire. Deputies recovered seven .223-caliber shell casings.
A Pine Tree Drive, Mooreville, man said he was disturbed by a large party with loud music on Sonny Drive behind his house. He called at 1 a.m. saying the party had been going on for three hours.
A Winfield Drive, Verona, woman returned to town after a month away and discovered someone had stolen 18 boxes of laminate flooring that she left in the carport.
A County Road 1023, Plantersville, man went to a barn on his property two weeks ago and found the door locked from the inside. When he went back the next day, the door was unlocked. When he went back this week, an inside door was blocked by a mattress and another mattress was blocking a window. He did not know who had gotten inside the barn.
A Highway 371 business said a front window was cracked open one morning. Someone had entered the building, gone through the shelves and the dog food. Around $1,000 in cash and the business checkbook were missing. The backdoor and a gate were open, and the company iPad was on the ground by the gate.
A County Road 1124, Mooreville, man said there was a 50-ish white female in a pink top and blue jeans lying in the road in front of his residence around 5 p.m. She was yelling, crying and saying she was sorry. The suspect had a backpack that she threw into the edge of the woods across the road.
